ESD Flooring or electrostatic dissipative flooring is sometimes referred to as anti-static flooring. ESD floors provide protection from an electrostatic discharge by draining or “dissipating” the charge to the ground. This is very important during the manufacture of sensitive electronic components like microchips and integrated circuits. It is also an excellent product for Computer Rooms and Labs.
